Carol Ann’s comments at the end of the interview seem to hit on something essential: the Eucharistic Prayers and what they actually say. She zeros in on the language of *sacrifice* in prayers I and IV. Is the Eucharist a sacrifice or is it not? If so, what is being offered? Bread and wine? Or Body and Blood? Thank God for catechists and interviews like this.
